This evening Greg Smith MP chaired a meeting in Winslow between East West Rail, Buckinghamshire Council and representatives from Parish Councils. The purpose of the meeting was for EWR to report back on their action plan from a few months back to improve their community relations and build the railway in a more considerate way for local residents.
Greg said: “General consensus was EWR have improved communications, but there is continuing frustration around road closures and damaged roads needing repair. I will be keeping the pressure up on EWR (and HS2 for that matter) to get on and repair our roads they have so badly damaged.”
