It was a pleasure to attend Sainsbury’s Reception in Parliament this afternoon and witness the significant impact the company has in Mid Buckinghamshire.
Sainsbury’s sources dairy from one of our local farms and beef from four others, contributes £5.21 million in business rates to Buckinghamshire Council, employs 42 people, and facilitates nearly 20,000 transactions every week.
This highlights how vital British farming is in delivering affordable, high-quality food to households across the UK, with trusted farms like those here in Buckinghamshire playing a central role.
