SEND Matters Coalition

I was pleased to meet with Helen Saul and Neil Giles, Co-Chairs of the SEND Matters Coalition this morning.

The SEND Matters Coalition supports SEND reforms that improve outcomes for children and families, whilst protecting children’s legal rights and ensuring no child loses access to the specialist support and learning environment they need as an unintended consequence of the governments reform proposals.

This is such an important issue in Mid Buckinghamshire as well as nationally and I am committed to doing all I can to ensure children with SEND get the right education for them - not shoehorned into a one size fits all system.
