Protecting our Buckinghamshire countryside has always been my top priority. The top down centralised housing targets from the Labour Government (which would be even higher under the Lib Dems) are utterly appalling and unacceptable. Government have forced our Council to produce a local plan on these numbers. No one in the council wants to do this - but are under a legal obligation to do so.
We must fight back and not allow our countryside and rural identity to be trashed.
