When village pubs close there is always a nervousness that they are gone forever, destined to become something else.
But today was a moment of cheer as I dropped into the opening night of the new incarnation of The Crown in Radnage.
Great to see the pub open again, with a buzzing atmosphere. Was even taught how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness! Please do support local pubs like the Crown, they need our support to survive.
