The unacceptable speculative development proposal for 650 units at Stoke Mandeville was rightly thrown out by Buckinghamshire Council. The developers seem determined to trash our countryside and have appealed the Council’s refusal to the Planning Inspectorate. I have written to the Inspectors, urging them to reject the appeal and uphold the Council’s refusal.
