Lawn Hill in Edgcott is not suitable for HGVs and heavy traffic movements. It’s a country lane. Yet the Ministry of Justice want to use it for construction of the new prison, despite having a new dedicated site entrance down the road.
For months I have been working with the village to try and persuade the council to reject this application to use Lawn Hill. We’re now at the last hour and really need common sense to prevail. Anyone can see this is an unsuitable road - so here is a last plea — refuse this application!
