Friday road trip to Reading to meet with the Integrated Care Board Chief System Development & Engagement Officer Sam Burrows alongside Walid Marzouk and Louise Gill from the wonderful Hyde Heath based charity Dementia Carers Respite.
This is a meeting I was pleased to set up to get the ICB to recognise and support the work of this charity in giving much needed respite care to carers of dementia patients. The discussion was wide reaching and pleased to report a number of solid actions where the ICB will help get this support to those who need it.
