Meeting with Brain Tumour Research in Parliament

This morning, I met with Brain Tumour Research in Parliament to support their campaign for the Government to spend at least £45 million a year in brain tumour research by 2029, along with a series of other recommendations.

Brain Tumour Research remains underfunded despite the devastating impact they have on patients and families. Increased investment is vital to improve treatments, ensure all brain tumour patients can access Whole Genome Sequencing, and expand access to clinical trials.

I’m proud to support this important campaign and will continue to back calls for the research and spending that patients deserve.
