Pleasure to attend Help for Heroes’ People’s Promise launch in Parliament this afternoon. The People’s Promise is a commitment to ensure veterans receive the support they deserve.
It’s also about turning commitments into real change for those who have served. Veterans deserve fair, consistent, and accessible support, not just in principle, but in practice.
The focus remains on four priorities: better healthcare, financial security, consistent support for all veterans, and a society that truly fulfils its duty to those who served.
It’s time to deliver on the Armed Forces Covenant.
