With Covid-19 rightly continuing to be at the forefront of people's minds, that does not mean people don't need treatment or diagnosis of other illnesses and conditions. With A&E activity down in Buckinghamshire by around 20 per cent and cancer referrals around 60% of the usual level, Greg has beenĀ concerned that people are not coming forward to the NHS when they have symptoms of potentially very serious illnesses. So in an urgent question in the House of Commons today (17th June 2020), GregĀ called on the Health Secretary Matt Hancock to join him in reminding everyone that the NHS is open and if people have concerns about their health they should seek the care they need.
