Greg calls for faster roll out of Shared Rural Network for mobile signal

Following the welcome news earlier today (Tuesday 14th July 2020) that in the interests of national security - and upon the advice of the National Security Council - Huawei equipment is to be removed from UK 5G networks by 2027, a consequence of this will be a delay to full 5G roll out.

In light of this news, it is more vital than ever we end the rural not-spots on mobile coverage, suffered by many in Buckinghamshire. So Greg pushed the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport to ensure the government prioritises delivering the brilliant Shared Rural Network scheme (designed to force providers to share their networks with each other) and get it rolled out faster.
