Over the course of lockdown many people of all faiths have missed the opportunity to worship in person.
Technology has, however, enabled many services to be broadcast on-line. For example St Laurence Church, Winslow has seen 400-500 people regularly join in virtual services on a Sunday.
This morning, Greg asked Andrew Selous MP in his capacity as the Second Church Estates Commissioner what plans the Church has to extend the use of virtual services going forward. The Renewal and Reform Initiative of the Church of England offers a wonderful opportunity for the Church to do this.
It is important that all faiths ensure those who wish to take part are afforded every opportunity to do so, especially those who are unable to attend in person.
