Greg Smith MP is backing residents in Padbury, who are currently working towards buying the Four and Twenty on Main Street and turning it into a community hub (including pub).
The plan is for the Padbury Hub to support local charities and organisations and provide much needed services to both the young, growing community in Padbury as well as our older residents who would benefit hugely from an accessible community hub. The team have researched and spoken to other community owned pubs and clubs and feel that Padbury would benefit from having such a facility.
Greg said: "We have lost too many village pubs over recent years - so it was uplifting to meet a number of Padbury residents behind a wonderful plan to buy the Four and Twenty pub and re-open it as a community pub and hub for the village. I am very happy to support the village in this endeavour and wish them the best of luck in making this project a reality."
