Pleased to join today’s community walk in Botolph Claydon, organised by the Claydons Solar Action Group, to demonstrate how much of our countryside is at risk from large scale energy projects. I continue to oppose ground-mounted solar, battery energy storage sites, substation rebuilds and all associated energy infrastructure, none of which belongs in Mid Buckinghamshire.
In Parliament I have tabled amendments to the Planning and Infrastructure Bill which ban ground-mounted solar on all farmland, and I continue to speak in the House of Commons against these horrendous projects. I will never give up the fight.
