It was a pleasure to attend the Air Ambulances reception in Parliament this afternoon and meet with Amanda McLean, CEO of Thames Valley Air Ambulance. We discussed a planned visit to their headquarters in Stokenchurch later this year and how I can continue supporting the incredible work air ambulance services do to save lives across our communities and across the country.
We were joined by Stuart Andrew MP, the Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, to discuss the importance of air ambulance services and the vital role they play in providing lifesaving emergency care.
