The Government were dragged to the chamber of the House of Commons this afternoon to end an unacceptable delay in announcing the continuation of the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund.
I welcome the £50 million for 2025/26 - but challenged the Minister, highlighting a constituents experience, the need for long term funding for this vital fund that does so much for some of the most vulnerable children in our society.
