Backing Small Business

As someone who has built his own business, Greg will always champion our small and medium sized businesses. From ensuring our high streets thrive, to backing new enterprise, Greg wants to see local business boom.  In particular Greg wants to see everything possible done to save village pubs and shops from closing.  Village post offices and pubs are the backbones of local communities and it is a tragedy when any close their doors for the last time.

Creating Jobs

Unemployment has fallen to the lowest level since 1974. Greg wants to attract more business investment to our area, ensuring there are new jobs created, such as at the Enterprise Zone around Silverstone circuit.

Lower taxes and ending low pay

By increasing personal allowances Conservatives have delivered a tax cut for 32 million people. We will also end low pay, by increasing the National Living Wage to £10.50 an hour by 2024: a £4,000 increase to the average full-time worker.
